This month has seen a number of new clients, ranging from pay-per-click advertising for a fine wines importer to SEO advice for 2 site migrations and Content Management System (CMS) vendor. I Couldn’t resist using this picture of Tony’s first cod... he was genuinely thrilled with it . Little things please...and all that.

I’ve been running Google advertising campaigns for nearly 3 years now, and after some friendly encouragement from Paul Smith thought I should “Go Legit”. The Online Google exam was not as complicated as I had been led to believe. But you do have to know your stuff... as there is no time to look the answers up!

Everybody is looking for the right keywords ...

I have been involved in an unusually high number of key word projects this month.. some have been for Google advertising campaigns but an increasing number are existing clients checking with me before they create new content. Making a conscious effort to use high scoring keywords is a worthwhile investment of time. But... only part of the story. You need a well structured website and good HTML templates first.

After the recent house move, it has been a real treat to do some Salesforce Partner Portal training for one of my clients in Germany. Interesting location, great hospitality and enthusiastic partners. The project really showcases all the features available in the Salesforce PRM application... if you are looking for partner participation in your Salesforce implementation it’s well worth a look.

Adwords, Adwords and more Adwords

This month I have mostly been.... working hard to keep my clients Google adword campaigns earning their keep during the often quiet summer months. This means looking for new keywords and extracting every last click by ensuring all the landing content is optimised for the campaign keywords. It’s a battle won or lost in the detail... and I love it :-)
